Lettuce Dish (Gemusesalat) 4 sl Bacon
1 Onion -or- 4 Scallions, sliced
1/4 c Cider vinegar
1 tb Sugar
1/2 ts Salt
1/8 ts Black pepper
1 1/2 qt Shredded lettuce
2 Hard cooked eggs, sliced
Saute bacon until crisp. Remove. Crumble. Reserve. Brown onion in bacon drippings. Add vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Pour over lettuce. toss. Garnish with crumbled bacon and sliced eggs.
